WEBJun 8, 2020 · I placed the whole setup on top of a lightweight Celestron SLT tripod which required replacing the short base bolt with a longer one and drilling a larger hole in the SLT head. It's a very stable combination. You can also use a Bosch Aluminum Quick Clamp Tripod BT160 ($37.55 on Amazon).
